‘Somerville provides Centennial Coal with a series of Services that began several years ago with a small dedicated outsourced team acting as a proxy for the internal IT Service Desk. Managed by Centennial’s IT Services Manager Alivia Bary and Somerville’s Service Delivery Manager Marc d’Apice, the service has expanded to cover not only Level 1 Helpdesk but also system administration, end user hardware configuration & delivery, Level 2 Service Desk, and on-site support.
Colin de Kantzow, Centennial’s Group Manager Information Systems, says ‘the capability, flexibility, and extreme customer focus of the Somerville team has allowed us to improve and expand services as our needs and maturity grew. The Service Desk is very well regarded by users, cost effective, and scales up and down to meet our demand.
