NGS Superannuation

When NGS Super embarked on the replacement of their end of life, on premise server infrastructure towards the end of last year, they saw an opportunity to rethink how they had been managing their IT needs.

NGS engaged Somerville to deliver a Hybrid IT Solution including Private Cloud, Backup as a Service and Security as a Service all built upon the HPE Technology Stack. This included connectivity for all their locations nationally along with supporting their program to transition to Salesforce. Hybrid IT has become the key element of NGS’s technology strategy removing considerations such as capacity planning, maintenance and multiple vendor management allowing a heightened focus on core business.

As an Industry Super Fund with around 100,000 Members and in excess of $7 billion in funds under management, NGS has a responsibility to its members to deliver value. Technology plays an important function as an enabler to NGS providing a platform upon which member experience can be enriched. NGS’s digital transformation program includes a revitalised online experience launched earlier this year empowering and educating members, and making it easier to do interact with NGS.
