Common Notebook Program Questions
Devices are delivered to the school in bulk at set dates to correspond with planned handouts to students. The handout dates will vary per school. Information regarding these dates is displayed on the portal where your order was placed.
In some circumstances you can cancel your order prior to delivery and receive a partial or full refund. Please email us at CustomerService@somerville.com.au and provide your order reference number. We will contact you to discuss your options.
Your School has selected the most appropriate device based on price, specification and ongoing support. Somerville only offer the device chosen by your school. In the event you wish to purchase outside of the school recommendations, we suggest you contact your school for further clarification.
Somerville provide access to unmatched Education pricing and models. Your school has chosen to work with Somerville based on this and a focus on ongoing support. Education packages include onsite repairs on selected devices by Somerville for warranty and damage repairs. Devices purchased elsewhere will not be supported by Somerville and will most likely not match the provided price and specification.
Yes, the package will include the machine, required manufacturer warranties, Somerville onsite support, power adapter, stylus (if applicable) and bag.
Generally, all devices are shipped to the school as per the set hand out dates. Most devices need to be connected to the school network when they are first turned on so they can set up connections withing the school infrastructure. It is not recommended to skip this process.
